14 products
Surface-conditioning pads are used to hand clean and smooth surfaces to prepare them for finishing. These pads are generally used with a liquid to clean and polish a variety of materials including metal, wood, tile, and ceramic. Pads can be cut to a comfortable size and are flexible to wrap around and conform to irregular surfaces.
Abrasive Material
Blending & Finishing Pads for All Metals
Blending and finishing pads optimized for use on all metals have a silicon carbide abrasive applied to a nonwoven surface. Blending and finishing abrasives remove fine lines and scratches and smooth surfaces to prepare surfaces for final finishing. Silicon carbide is a sharp synthetic abrasive that provides a fine finish in low-pressure applications such as finishing and painting preparation. It breaks down faster than aluminum oxide. Example metals include mild and carbon steel, cast iron, cobalt, titanium, and chrome.
