Cool-cutting ceramic is coated to prevent loading and keep surface temperatures down when working with heat-sensitive materials such as stainless steel and aluminum. Ceramic self-sharpens faster than other abrasives to remove material faster. Other workpiece materials include cobalt, Inconel, titanium, and chrome.
