Oil-Soluble Diamond Lapping Compounds
Oil-soluble diamond lapping compounds are made with very hard fine-grit abrasive used for aggressive polishing to final tolerances. Oil-based lapping compounds are used on parts that aren't sensitive to solvents required to clean surfaces after lapping. They also remain moist longer than water-based compounds and are less likely to cause parts to rust.
Super Fine is used final lapping and finishing on deals, molds, and dies. Super-fine diamond lapping compounds are 3 to 12 micron grit.
