Rated 5 out of 5 by Previously purchased cheaper sump pump for this application and both did not last a year. Decided to use the Zoeller this time, had used in the past at another job and never had a problem with them. I look to not have to worry about this again. October 21, 2013

we have another pit as well (back up pit) which is only 12" in diameter and between 18 to 20" deep. Do you have a sump pump to fit that pit.

Answer:
The 2P547 is a polypropylene and cast iron pump and the 2P549 is an all cast iron pump. Either will fit in a 12 x 18” pit and will work as long as your pit fills with enough water to turn the pump on – the minimum depth needed will be 8”.
