    This will be mounted horizontally at the end of a 75 foot run of 4" pipe, reducing to 3" at the end, with an 8" pitch. A gravity drain. I need to know how much pressure is needed to be sure the valve will open.

    Mounted horizontally with no pressure standing on it the cracking pressure would be ½ pound.
