Answer: 
According to the manufacturer, heat guns and ovens are appropriate for shrinking this tubing. The melting point, or shrink temperature of this product is between 635°F and 650°F. A heat guns temperature rating is based off of the temperature rating at the tip of the gun, after the air leaves the tip, the temperature of the heated air drops quickly. As a result, the manufacturer recommends a heat gun with a minimum temperature setting of 850°F.
