Rated 1 out of 5 by The gears broke before first use. Just plain junk. February 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is the first snow season we have used this spreader. The "stainless steel" axle has steel sheer pins in it for the gear drive. Didn't take but 2 months for that to rust out and no longer work. Its only a matter of replacing a few pins, but it should last at least one snow season. Put a stainless steel pin in the stainless axle and that would solve the problem. February 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The wheels are junk. The tubes are week and even if you replace them with aftermarket ones, DO NOT inflate to tire 30lb as stated on the tire. If you do the plastic rim will buckle.Grainger has helped greatly by replacing these at no cost but this is still a sub-par product. January 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The transmission stripped the first time used. Not well made as the transmission failed upon first use. March 23, 2012
