Not sure what the bend angle of 24 degrees means. i would like to know if I can install this flue liner in an existing 8" square flue by bending the bottom flue liner to go through an existing opening in the chimney.

Answer:
Hello. The bend angle is 24 degrees which means you cannot bend it greater than that without damaging the liner. Generally speaking if you have a relatively straight shot thru the 8 inch thimble you should be ok.

If you have futher questions please call 1-800-472-4643 ans ask to speak with one of our HVAC tech reps and they will be able to immediately assist you.
