Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic You guys sold yourselves short. I use this for clock repair and found this to be the best product I have have tried. Out performs anything I have used. Thankyou November 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great, doesn't appear to be completely dry It doesn't appear to be completely dry, it feels slick and oily to touch (as you would expect lubricant to) but it doesn't actually seem to come off on your hands if you touch it, which leads me to believe it's actually dry. It doesn't seem to attract dust any easier than if I were to leave something dry, and it does it's job very well as a lubricant, removing squeak from any and all plastic and metal mechanisms. Rated 5 out of 5 by Works good for machining I've been using this for drilling, tapping and milling aluminum and it works great. It lubricates well and leaves no sticky film like typical cutting fluids making clean up of chips and machine much easier. I agree with other comments about not being completely dry but it only leaves a very light film. I also started using this in industrial automation equipment where there are open linear bearings and other areas where we typically used light oil that attracted debris. This keeps from attracting debris. August 27, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not Dry!! I bought this to use on the lock of a prosthetic leg. It is a plastic on plastic connection that the prosthetist said to use Dry PTFE spray lube on to prevent squeaking. Fortunately I tested this before using it by spraying a thin film on top of a metal paint can lid. I also had a squirt bottle of DuPont dry film PTFE lube which I put on another paint can lid. After more than an hour, the WD-40 "Dry Lube" was still shiny and very oily looking and when I wiped my finger across the lid there was very much an oily film. This product may provide excellent lubrication and I'm sure it has PTFE in it but in no way, shape or form is it a Dry Lube. It is in fact quite wet and oily. If you need an actual Dry Lube, look elsewhere!! March 27, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not as described on the tin! I bought this because it is advertised as a dry lubricant. The result when sprayed is a clear, not white, liquid that dries partly leaving a clear greasy surface that dust sticks to readily, i.e. it is not dry! I repeated this several times with no change. I followed the instructions carefully. I can't see how this is a Specialist Dirt & Dust Resistant Dry Lube. It is not up to the standard of other WD40 products. June 4, 2014
