Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work, can leaks at joint No liquid comes out of the straw or the spray nozzle, instead it leaks from where the rotating joint meets the can and oozes out onto your hand. November 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Leaky can Have never had a problem like this before......works great, always has, BUT, had a can setting on a shelf in my storage room, not too hot or too cold, and it somehow leaked, a lot. Ate paint off of another can of whatever, dripped down the shelves and pooled onto other shelves and some plastic trays....hardened a little, was easy to scrape off with minimal effort, but actually pitted one plastic tray while another type of the same make was unharmed.....never had this happen before and have had cans set for multiple years, way longer than this one......???????????any ideas why????? Rated 1 out of 5 by "Smart Straw" is Absolutely Useless I bought several cans of WD-40, intrigued by the Smart Straw---and was immediately disappointed. Upon my first attempt a small rubber washer fell out of the supposedly Smart Straw; I attempted to replace the washer, but the plastic parts of the straw are so soft that pieces were no longer able to be rejoined. My second attempt: the WD-40 sprays everywhere EXCEPT through the ports on the friggin' straw. What a complete waste of product--I am sorely disappointed. I'm off to dig through the recycling to see if I can locate the old spray nozzle from my last old-style can... October 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is literally the worst product ever Don't buy this. It only works to spray oil all over your hands, body and eyes. The smart straw is anything but - what a poorly designed product. September 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Second Time First time I thought it was better than sliced bread. SECOND time a few weeks later WD 40 came out where you press it and it ran down my arm. I now have a can 99% full that I am unable to use. Did you test this container? How Many?Just a piece of JUNK!!! August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Years ago when wd40 first came out a friend who worked at a auto parts store recommended it to me, I've been using it ever since. I keep a can in my work shop in the basement and another in the garage. It is a great product for many uses. August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product My name is James. I use WD 40 to keep spiders from re-building webs in my screened in swimming pool. If one sprays the beams that prop up the screens, spider webs do not stick. I live in south FLA, and now is rainy season.Much to my surprise the WD40 remained in tact and no spider webs after three weeks! I also removed webs from other parts of the pool area and the webs were back in two to three DAYS!! Only the areas where I sprayed WD40 are there NO webs!! Thanks WD40 for a great product. Rated 1 out of 5 by Bring Back The Old Straw! These new cans run out of propellant with half of the product still in the can. Numerous other reviewers have reported the same problem. I now have 3 cans of used WD-40 that are half full. There won't be a fourth! The old "Stupid Straw" worked much better. July 29, 2014
