You can remove the cap on the little brass device on top, than you can use a Tire filler on you portable compressor or bike pump. You can also check the pressure with a Tire Inflation Gauge. If you over fill it, the arrestor will not stop the water hammering so if the pressure is heigher than the system it will not work.
