Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 48reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Purchased to use in small server room Easy to install, vented thru ceiling panel, set the temperature and has worked flawlessly. Keeps our equipment nice and cool. The only required maintenance is to clean the easy off air screen (filter) every so often. Totally recommend for this use! October 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Choice for Server Room AC We have not regretted our choice of the SRCOOL12K for our server room.We have been running it non-stop for well over two years, without a problem. We simply clean the screen filters once a month. That's it!The SRCOOL12K is a lifesaver for our equipment. We run 4 physical servers, as well as 4 computers that reside in the server room. Needless to say, without the SRCOOL12K, things can get pretty toasty.I would recommend the SRCOOL12K without hesitation. October 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great little unit Out server room is in the center of a basement in an old 1911 house. It has no room ventilation or cooling system. This unit runs 24/7 and keeps our equipment cool. We vent the unit through an old access panel in the room's wall. No issues and it's been running for almost 1 year now. October 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Don't overload This unit works very well indeed, but if the room you're trying to cool is too large or too hot, the unit might shutdown. If it cannot dissipate enough heat through the exhaust tube, it will stop cooling. There's a limit to what 12k can cool. October 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very solid product Has been running great for years with no issues, much better than the unit it replaced. Well worth the extra dime if this is cooling a small data center as your servers depend on it. October 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This unit works well. This unit was installed 2 years ago and has not required any tweaking. It cools a small server room down and does it effortlessly.I would highly recommend this unit. October 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Backup Cooling Units The SRCOOL12K are a great option for backup cooling of our CRAC unit. They are affordable and more convenient then having to rent portable coolers. With the condensate being discharged along with the exhaust air, there is no need for a container that has to capture the condensate. These units can run over a weekend with no concern with shutting down due to a full condensate container. They are small enough to fit inside our server room and have casters to easily move them out of the way when needed. October 1, 2014

Answer:
You can buy a plug in thermostat that plugs into a wall outlet and the AC into that which anytime the room is not at your desired temperature it will automatically kick it on to cool/ heat the room to your desired 60 degree temp.

basically it is a plug in t-stat just like a timer for your outlet works the same way.

Answer:
Per the information provided on the supplier’s website the unit automatically evaporates condensation and safely removes it through the exhaust, so you won’t have to install a drain or constantly empty a water tank.
