    Answer: 
    To remove this plug, you will use an allen wrench to loosen the nut in the center, this will cause the plug to decompress. When the nut is loose, the plug will be able to be pulled out of the opening. After cleaning out the drain, you will need to reinstall the plug and tighten the nut again.
