Rated 1 out of 5 by Bought the unit, the base was not receiving the signal from the remote sensor unit. The LED inidcator on the remote sensor was flashing indicating it was transmitting, both the base and the remote were set for channel #1. No response from the base unit. Do no recommend this unit if you need the remote sensor. August 27, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by I bought three of these uits today. Following the directions provided, I activated all three units. The indoor dislpay showed a ball park(witin three degrees) temperature for the local temperature. One remote sensor never did transmit, the two that did were slow to respond and inaccurate. Installing batteries in the remote unit is a real hassle. You need to jeweler's phillips screwdriver to open the battery box and you fight the table stand while removing and installing the access plate for the batteries August 29, 2012
