Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them, of the
following: Grainger part number 5XL18 has a protective silicone coating that can handle environments up to 300 degrees F. If the solution is not water, you may want to call Grainger and obtain more detail identifying the type of solution; the presence of chemicals, acids and so forth. The phone number is 1-888-361-8649
