Rated 4 out of 5 Great Laminator with a few issues I've been working with my 5100L laminator now for about 5 months and it still does a decent job for the amount of pouches I put through it (about 150 a month). The things I like are it laminates quickly, the job counter is very useful, it has an easy to use control interface, and it looks very cool. The things I don't like are it's lamination quality with thicker pouches (7mil and above) especially with 10mil where the lamination quality is downright poor sometimes. I mostly use 3mil pouches so it's not a huge deal but it's something to note. Also the heat-up time is a joke. If you laminate directly after the machine is ready (which is USUALLY longer than 2 minutes) the quality is horrible at any pouch size and MUCH better if you let the machine warm for about 7-10 minutes. Overall, the 5100L has done a decent job. I'd recommend it with the caveats I mentioned above. September 5, 2013
