Rated 1 out of 5 by This hose has many poor features. I have 2 soft and supple hoes I bought 28 years ago, still use them. The last one Ibought was a piece of junk.Sevearal kinks or flat spots the entire length hose. November 21, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by New generation hose is horrible I owned a 50 Ft soft and supple hose for 15 yrs and had nothing but praise for it. The new product same name is a piece of junk. Of course the receipt was misplaced so I"ll learn my lesson and go back to Sears Craftsman. October 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by product is a total disappointment At the end of the summer season last year we brought 2 ofbhese hose to replace some original Swan hoses. Well, I totally regret this new purchase. My experience was the same as the other reviews. Nothing about this hose is close to the same except its color. I don't even want a replacement, just going to box up these two useless hoses and send them to the corporate headquarters and tell them they can have their useless product back. Such an embarrassing shame. September 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by HORRIBLE HOSE The hose kinks and twists no matter how it is laid out or coiled up. While in use the hose easily bends into a kink and stops the flow of water. I will return it to the retailer and buy a different brand. August 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Soft & Supple loses quality I have been reading reviews of Soft & Supple and share most of the bad experiences. My old one is at least 15 years old and functions well. Last summer bought three new ones. The male connectors have blown off two hoses. The female connectors have corroded and rusted. I haven't bothered to unpack the third one. They kink and are almost impossible to use. I'm usually happy to purchase something that's made in the U.S.A. This is embarrassing. August 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hose is useless I bought this hose thinking it would be one of the last hoses I would ever buy. Was I wrong. This hose already has four kinks in it . I can't get it to roll up on the hose reel evenly. It just curls and kinks of its own free will. I have a 100 foot hose and I give up every time I try to roll it up. If I had kept the receipt I would have returned it. July 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by I will never buy this hose again. The Soft and Supple is literally the worst hose I have ever bought or used. First, I have never had hose kink as much as this hose. I used it this morning to spray some lawn weeds, and after getting it off of the reel and twisting it around so that it lay straight, then hooked it up to my spray nozzle, pulled about 30 feet, looked back to find not one, not two, but three kinks already. As a matter of fact, it won't even work on the hose reel unless it is fully pulled out, because the kinks on the reel are so tight that no water can even get through. So I replaced it with a Never Kink hose: what a great hose that is. Second, the hose bib end leaks endlessly because there are not enough threads on the end. It is too shallow of a fitting. Finally, when the temperatures get down in the forties, all of the above problems just get worse. I wish I had kept my Lowe's receipt because that hose would already be gone from my house. Rated 1 out of 5 by New product is no where near a good as the older product. Stiff, kinks badly, very difficult to coil back up, just a very poor product. Very Poor hose for everyday use. Not at all satisfied with this product. Older product was much easier to use and of much higher quality. May 14, 2014
