Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst hose I've ever had Bought this because I thought the "Contractor Grade" would be a good buy. You can't even coil this hose to hang it up. May as well throw it away. April 2, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Had the 3/4 50ft. hoses and within a few weeks the couplings began leaking and they developed bulging areas and blew out. One of the hoses was replaced and within a week it also developed the same problems. March 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality Had mine for two months then started to leak at connection. Returned for an exchange. Hope replacement doesn't fail. July 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by These hoses are horrible. We bought a lot of these hoses back in 2006 and we were very happy. We wanted to replace all the hoses with Swan. Its to bad that the first hoses we ordered where the only ones that were good quality. Every hose since then has been garbage. They split, burst, and crack. We have had 100 of them exchanged under the warranty but they still fall apart. I would not recommend these to anybody. June 2, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Low quality couplings After using this hose for two months the male coupling start leaking , the couplings are made with very low quality materials . May 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hose is not made well We bought the contractor hose in January, One month later it burst a hole and we repaired it. Since then it has burst 3 more holes. I would not recommend this hose. We drained it after each use and hung it in our heated tack room and still it did not last. March 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kink resistant???? This hose was sent to me as a replacement hose for a Swan Kink-free type hose that, after a good 4-5 years use, bubbled in a few places and then burst. I was surprised at first to see that the hose which was sent was not an original replacement, but one that looked "stronger," kink resistant, and weighed more than my original. Wow, I thought I might come out ahead on this deal! I would roll the hose up on the garage floor when I was finished using it, and after a month or so, I noticed that the hose would start "kinking" when I would use it. Somewhat frustrating to have to stop in the middle of spraying a car and "unwind" the hose to eliminate the kink. So,that was just something I learned to live with. Noticed water on the garage floor last week and realized the hose developed a pinhole near the male end. Returning the product in hope of getting a lighter and more flexible hose. Overall, this is a good hose, but I would suggest using a hose reel to wind it in ...this may prevent the kinking from occurring. February 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by What a disaster! Have owned only 10 days I paid $125 for 2-100 ft hoses. Yes, it is winter but I kept them in a heater area when not in use. Day one through 9 all I did was deal with numerous kinks. On day 10 the kinks and holes out of nowhere started throwing water everywhere soon to leave a sheet of ice in the stable and all over me. What a waste of money and time. 'Very frustrating. I am returning them tomorrow. Arrrg. January 28, 2014
