Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following.
"The joules rating is 420 for the 5TDG2". This surge protector is designed to protect A/C equipment only, not a main panel.

Work on 240/50 htz

Trying to use this in region where the power is 220/50 htz as compared to 110/60, since they cycles are different, I am wondering if it will work.

According to the manufacturer, this unit will work on 240v 50Hz and 120/240v 60Hz electrical systems.
