Answers

Answer:
Yes it will in a temporary situation. The brake is not designed for a prolonged securing such as a moving trailer containing a winched secured load.

Answer:
According to the manufacturer, this winch is "For intermittent use only. Ratings at left are based on 10' pull. For longer pulls motor cooling periods must be allowed. MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS RUN TIME 3 MINUTES."

Please contact us at 800-323-0620 so we can provide you with a copy of this document, so you may see the "ratings at left".
