Rated 5 out of 5 by I've used a Streamlight Stinger for years and it’s the standard against which I measure others. When introduced to them, I couldn't imagine paying that much [far less back then] for a flashlight. Having tried many alternatives, I’ve been disappointed. Others' light is too diffused, switches die, batteries die too quickly, batteries had to be removed/switched out to charge, etc. I did have one w/a faulty switch, but it was replaced [by the seller] with no questions asked. I used the ones with Xenon bulbs for a long time, but finally gave in and tried an LED. I wish I hadn’t waited to try it.I use my Stingers to inspect structures in some of the nastiest conditions and they keep working. It’s cliché but it fits: “Pay less over and over, or pay once for the right solution.” September 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I use one of these lights daily and have never had an issue. What I do have an issue with is Grainger charging $250 for a light that costs $100 at any other dealer. Shame, Shame, Shame everyone knows your name. November 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by garbage product, what a waste of money. for the price you would expect this flashlight to last a lifetime not one year. when i callled streamlight they had me send it in for free repairs at only the shipping cost to me, which i did. they sent it back saying they could find no problem with it. with in one month it was not working again. i called them back and they said send it back and will we fix it all i have to do is pay for shipping. so why would i spend another 20$ to send back to a company that didnt fix it right the first time. when called them on this all they could tell me was we are sorry for your problem. not once did they offer to cover the shipping cost or replace the light all together. avoid this product and go get another cheaper brand, i have had a 15$ maglite for over a year and it works like a champ. dont waste your money on this product August 21, 2013
