Answer: 
For crown molding, you may be more interested in a pneumatic finish nailer, which uses smaller nails and will be less likely to split the crown. Feel free to look at the ones on page 3895 of the current catalog, number 404. One thing you will want to pay particular attention to is the length of the nails each unit uses. Make sure the nailer uses fasteners which would have an appropriate length for the thickness of the crown you are installing.
