Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst product ever purchased from Grainger This product was purchased for a fresh water system that runs continuously at about 20-30 psi. After the vent was installed it appeared to be working correctly. About 3 days later it was spewing water everywhere. I did not want to give up on it yet so I tried it again in a system that runs only about 2 times a week for a few hours. When it was first installed and tested on this second system, it again appeared to be working correctly. A few days later it was the same story again. Water was spewing everywhere. This product looks fancy and has a big price tag but it is worthless. There are much cheaper brass vent valves out there that will work for a long time. May 25, 2012

    Max CV or opening

    Hi,

Do you have a cut-sheet with more information from the manufacturer?

Just in case this valve leaks water, as one reviewer claimed, I wanted to have an idea of the maximum flow rate it can leak.

Do you have an estimate on the max Cv, or maybe max flow rate at a given pressure if the valve were to completely fail open at any point? Cut sheet from manufacturer would be preferred. I cannot find it online.

    Thanks,
    Steven
