Answers

Answer:
Hello,
That is an excelent question, slower motor, cast iron compressor all add to the quiet operation. Unfortunately there are really no levels on most of the units we carry, if you are looking for a very quiet unit you will spend $$$..
I wish I had a good answer but there is not, depending on how much air you need will depend on the compressor. Screw type compressors which are on the expensive end of the scale, produce more air with a lot less noise.

I hope this answers your question, thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer!
