Rated 1 out of 5 by This compressor was installed on a dry fire system. Unit locked up in 18 months. I would not recommend anyone use this compressor for anything that you have ot rely on. January 20, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by This product is an example of a product that is too cheap Out of the 6 we purchased last year for maintaining air pressure in dry sprinkler sytems, all 6 drew more than the listed amperage draw. That means the customer had to spend more money to run new wiring.Of the 6, we had to replace the head gasket/plate on one compressor. No compensation to us, a free job.Of the 6, we have a bad motor on one compressor. Not yet repaired, lack of time at our shop.Of the 6, we have had 2 with broken plastic wheels, when the box was opened. I bought metal wheels, no compenstion to us, a free job.Graninger's supplier has cheapened the compressor to where I am looking for alternatives. Too bad this stuff is not made in the USA anymore. I buy American when possible. April 4, 2012
