Rated 2 out of 5 by We've had this for 4 years and had to replace most of the parts on it.At 6 months the motor was replaced under warranty. At 3.5 years motor needed replacing again. This time we put a 3-phase Dayton 2MXV1 3 motor on it.The motor caps on the motor lasted around 12-16 months (part of the reason we went to 3-phase).The contactor failed at about 2 years.Replaced the tank at 3 years because it developed a crack by a mount platform weld. With the original motors we had to hit the reset several times a day to keep it running. We didn't want to set the overload to auto reset because we were concerned that this might cause more problems. This is kept in a ventilated, clean room (approx 500sq ft). It runs no more than 4 hours total through the day, 5 days a week. Water drained morning and night. The compressor oil is changed every 6 months and the motor bearings were lubed every 6 months. It is mounted on dampers.Summary: In the 4 years we've had this, the only things we haven't replaced are the compressor, belts, overload relay and the pressure switch. When it's running it performs as expected.
