Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by I was worried that the compressor would drag upon startup, but the 5HP motor starts it up quickly. Also, the advertised current draw is 21A, but I actually measured it at 19A at full pressure. The unit draws 7A with the valve open (minimum load). May 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have an older one of this compressor. it is like my first compressor 2 cylinder, except it a 4 cylinder. The first one lasted me all most 25 years. March 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good part is that this one is quiet compared to some I've had. I use this in my machine shop. That reduces the warranty to 90 days. It only runs, maybe 10% of the time but still the motor and pressure switch went out in 87 days. Repair guy came out to diagnose the problem. It was 4 days until the parts came in. It was down for about a week. I thought I was buying a quality product. I would not purchase the Speedaire again. (fyi: this is a campbell hausfeld product) Go figure. October 31, 2012
