Disposable In-Line 4-Stage Desiccant Filter/Dryer
Ideal for paint-spraying applications. Removes dust, dirt, water vapor, and oil aerosols that may have bypassed main air filtration system. Blue desiccant bead lowers dew point to -40°F and removes all water vapor. When blue beads turn pink, it is time to replace filter. Bidirectional flow. 3-3/4" x 1-11/16" dia. 1/4" NPT with female inlet and male outlet; can be attached at either end. 15 cfm. Max. pressure: 125 psi. Max. temp.: 130°F. Pkg. qty.: 2.

Answer: 
This is meant for compressed air. If that is what is being filtered on your plasma cutter then yes. This is a dessicant to remove moisture. You will want to make sure this will handle the flow rate and pressure of air being used. Thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer.

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

The average use of 8 hours is based off of a temperature in the range of 68-78 degrees and a humidity rating range of 30%-60%.

Just had pneumatic HVAC controls installed with these (Speedaire 6ZC63A) filters. They have not turned pink but are not the blue they used to be. If there was a moisture problem that "went away" will the blue return or will they stay this other color. Are they really still okay until they turn pink? Thanks!

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

As the color changes, the original blue will not return. This item is rated for approximately 8 hours of use time. If it has not turned pink after the moisture issue was resolved, it should still be operable.
