Relief valve setting on 2TWC3 ASME Tank?

Your spec for ASME Coded tank Item # 2TWC3 w/ relief valve does not specify the safety relief pressure setting. With a stated wp of 140 psig, it is assumed that the relief valve would be set at some level higher than 140 psig. For safety purposes, the safety valve setting should be listed so the user can design the attached pumbing without there being any safety issues.
For example: Air receivers shall be equipped with a suitable pressure-indicating gauge with the dial graduated to not less than 1.2 times the pressure at which the safety relief valve is set to function. Without knowing this set pressure, one cannot even selecte a gage without there being a safety issue.

Please advise.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

The relief valve included in this item is not a safety pop off valve and is designed for depressurizing the unit at the end of the day’s use. If you would prefer a safety relief valve please contact us at 1-800-GRAINGER and ask for assistance in the Pneumatics Department, we would be happy to assist you with a product selection.

Answer:
The unit is designed to a maximum working pressure of 140 PSI. This is the maximum pressure that should be adhered to in all working applications with this product. The Pressure Safety Valve is rated for 165 PSI and is marked as such on the product and conforms to the ASME specifications/requirements. The Safety valve rating is not a published specification as this is a component in the designed system. The maximum working pressure(140 PSI) is what should be used for evaluating the suitability of a product for an application.
