The groove referred to on the flywheels will be related to whether your unit currently uses an A or B groove style belt.

On an A belt, the top of the belt will measure ½”, and the bottom of the belt will pitch in to 5/16”.

The previous answer to this question answered an unasked question about the cross sectional dimensions of an A section v-belt. I want information about this flywheel.

For example the OD (outside diameter) of the Grainger pulley 5RHY7 is 2.05", the A pitch diameter is 1.8", and the 3L pitch diameter is 1.46". When asking for the A pitch diameter of this flywheel, I know that the OD is 10". I expect the A pitch diameter is slightly smaller than 10". Any idea what it might be?
