Here is what the manufacturers’ instructions state for the 10Z875:

SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove metal drains. Remove any loose paint with a wire brush or sandpaper. Repair chips or
cracks with a patching compound such as Liquid Steel®. Eliminate any mildew from the surface by
treating with a solution of bleach and water. Repeat if necessary. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Scrub surface with an abrasive pad and abrasive cleanser such as Comet® to remove all dirt,
grease, mold, oil, soap film and hard water deposits. Remove all caulk and wipe those areas with
a non-oily solvent such as isopropyl alcohol.
Scrub with an abrasive pad and Lime-A-Way® cleaner to create a slightly porous surface for strong
adhesion. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Scrub the entire area and allow to stand an additional 5
minutes. Scrub the entire surface again and rinse with water. Sand the surface with #400/600 grit
wet/dry sandpaper. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all residue. Allow the surface to dry for
at least 90 minutes before applying paint. Wipe with a tack cloth immediately before painting to
remove all dust and lint.

APPLICATION:
Use in a well-ventilated area when the temperature is between 65°F, and 90°F, and humidity is
below 80% to ensure proper drying.

Before mixing Part A (activator) with Part B (base), stir each component thoroughly. Pour activator
into base can and mix. No waiting period is required after mixing. Refer to coverage chart to
determine the amount needed for the job. Mix only the amount necessary for two coats. If less than
a full (1 qt.) kit is needed, mix in a 4:1 ratio of base to activator in a separate container. Apply within
6 hours of mixing.

NOTE: Small bubbles will appear on the surface as you paint. As the paint dries, its self-leveling
properties will eliminate these bubbles.

BRUSH
Use a high-quality, fine bristle varnish brush. Brush in one direction only for a smooth surface, and
feather the edges as you paint to avoid a hard line between painted areas. Apply two coats, waiting
at least 1 hour between coats. A third coat may be applied the next day, if necessary.

ROLLER
Use a high quality, short nap roller made for kitchen and bath use. A four-inch wide roller is
recommended. Apply two coats, waiting at least 1 hour between coats. A third coat may be applied
the next day, if necessary.

SPRAY
Thin no more than 10% (3 oz. per quart) with 100 % isopropyl alcohol (not rubbing alcohol). Hold
sprayer 8-12" from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion. Some hard-to-reach
areas may require closer spraying. See sprayer instructions for proper adjustments. Apply a very
light mist-coat followed immediately by a light second coat. A third coat may be applied 1 to 2
hours after the first 2 coats, if necessary.

Dries to the touch in less than one hour and to handle in 3 hours, and is fully dry in 18 hours at
70°F (21°C)-50% relative humidity. Allow paint to dry 3 days (72 hours) before exposing to water
