Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 26reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice saw light weight, easy to carry to job site. I have not used it on any flooring yet(soon) I have been cutting 1/2in and 1/4 in plywood and trim with no problem, very sharp blade January 21, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by very disappointed I am a flooring installer and I bought this about 18 months ago. I have used this saw on about 6 to 8 jobs and it still has the original saw blade on it. I really liked the way this saw worked until it stopped working. Motor must have burned out. It simply will not turn on. I'm disappointed in the reliability of this saw December 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Professional time saving tool I bought the Skil flooring saw on the recomendation of a friend. I agree with him, this saw is awesome for using in the same room that you are working in. No more time consuming trips back and forth to the chop saw and table saw outside somewhere.I've used this saw quite a few times and wish it had been invented years ago. What a convenient, efficient and well thought out time saver December 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great saw I actually bought this saw to install laminate flooring but wound up using it for many other projects It has been a great addition to my tool collection. I've used it for ripping 1 inch lumber instead of getting the big table saw out. It does a great cut anf I really enjoy using it. I wish I had found this saw years ago. September 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excelent saw! A REAL TIME SAVER!!!! I borrowed the Skil flooring saw from a friend who got it at a pawn shop, it was very used to say the least. I was installing Pergo snap together flooring and it wore through my new narrow kerf carbide blade so I begged her to barrow it as I was way behind schedule. I ran the saw hard and it did everything anyone could have asked. The last few cuts were smoking a bit but the saw finished all 1300 sqft on the blade that was in it. I bought another blade and it is back for more! One of the best tools ever! September 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unique practical saw What a great lightweight sea. Instead of firing up my big Delta tableware for a.single straight rip cut, this one quickly does the job.I bought it used and the previous owner neglected it and left it exposed to humidity, since the screws and bolts were corroded. After reading some of the comments on removing the blade I was concerned I might not get the blade off. The screw seemed froze - then I checked the on-line manual. Ah hah-ha - that Allen bolt is left threaded, so you turn it clockwise to loosen it. No wonder that guy couldn't remove the bolt. He was probably turning it the wrong way. Some guys just don't read the manual. He could have also used Vise-grips to hold the blade, but if you go the wrong way nothing will help. The machined and blued harbor seemed very high quality to me.I'm amazed at the design of this saw. What a great tool - lightweight and versatile. September 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great for knotty pine t/g 3/4 in great tool for my renovation project--all angles cut freehand May 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super easy to use for a novice I bought this saw for my first time install of laminate floor. I watched the how-to videos online instead of reading the manual.Great cuts. My floor would not have looked as nice as it does if I had to use other power tools. With the built in guides, everything was nice and straight.I did have to practice a few times before I got the notches right because it's hard to see where the blade is and I overcut some times. It kicks up enough sawdust that I was glad I did my cuts outside. Also wish the sawing area was half an inch wider as I had to flip some of my planks over to rip them the correct width.A bit pricey but still less than having to hire someone. The lightweight but yet very sturdy saw worked well for me as I worked on the floor over a couple of days and it was easy to put away in between uses.
