Rated 4 out of 5 by great for knotty pine t/g 3/4 in great tool for my renovation project--all angles cut freehand May 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super easy to use for a novice I bought this saw for my first time install of laminate floor. I watched the how-to videos online instead of reading the manual.Great cuts. My floor would not have looked as nice as it does if I had to use other power tools. With the built in guides, everything was nice and straight.I did have to practice a few times before I got the notches right because it's hard to see where the blade is and I overcut some times. It kicks up enough sawdust that I was glad I did my cuts outside. Also wish the sawing area was half an inch wider as I had to flip some of my planks over to rip them the correct width.A bit pricey but still less than having to hire someone. The lightweight but yet very sturdy saw worked well for me as I worked on the floor over a couple of days and it was easy to put away in between uses. Rated 5 out of 5 by as handy + portable as you can ask for! I purchased this after xmas to install my very 1st hardwood floor + what a job it does! January 29, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 works good if you never want to change the blade I do flooring for a living and I love having it by my side less up and down and walking. The down fall is you can't change the blade the button has broke on 2 of mine to stop it from turning and you can't hold it still to take the blade off therefor I would not tell anyone to buy it save your money they are now junk to me. I also talked to another installer who got rid of his for the same reason July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Tool Received as a gift. Quick and easy for a small project - beats dragging out the miter and table saws for a quick job.  Power cord tends to get in the way sometimes when sliding the saw on the track. Needs a finer blade, especially for laminate flooring. Happy overall. January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by DIY MUST for Flooring This tool simplifies all the cuts required to install engineered flooring. It cleanly rips, miters, and crosscuts. It is very easy to use and has a very good and quick clamp to secure your flooring piece while sawing. The Skil 3600 saw replaces your much larger chop saw and also your much larger table saw for the flooring phase of your project. December 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great saw I gave it 5 stars, it's very useful and versatile. However if SKIL will do slightly longer base (for slide about 20-24 inches) and clearance about 2" - it will bit most miter saws (by the flat and compact size) . Really love it!!! Thanks for that saw.   October 24, 2013
