Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to handle The grinder proved to be more than able to perform the task that it was purchased for June 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap and poorly built I've had two of these, they last about a month under frequent use. The bearing is what goes out on them and then they lock up and won't spin. About the same time the on/off switch starts getting "sticky" and will be hard to reposition. Difficult to turn on and off and doesn't want to stay in the on position. Also, the on/off switch is too small to easily operate with gloves on. December 22, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelievable price! This tool is as good as any of the other brands for one third the price! I am very pleased with the tools performance and would recommend to any one who needs a good grinder. October 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Grinder! I bought this a month ago to work with along side my new welder. This tool is a must for metal working. I have also taken up a new hobby of knife making since i bought this grinder. Try out the polishing disk attachments, they work great for putting a mirror finish on metal. October 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by The off/on & lock switch hard to use.... I bought this grinder to replace an older grinder with a 4.3 amp. motor. This Skil grinder is powerful and works well, if you can get the switch to work. Some times it takes a real effort to turn it on and lock. I have tried using some graphite to lube the switch, it helps, but still a pain to use. I would recomend the Grinder with the paddle switch. September 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tool! The best 4 1/2 inch grinder for the money hands down. September 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I t works with my hobby I have been collecting and restoring old gas pumps for over 20 years. The Skil grinder is small enough to get into most of the tight areas of old pumps to smooth welds and dents. Its weight is right for long use without tiring. The lock for changing the disc works very easly. I have owned several other brands(which cost more) but did not work as well as tyhe Skil angle grinder. September 6, 2013
