Rated 1 out of 5 by Residue on plastic Seems I had the same experience as everyone else. There is a residue left on the plastics. I got more of a greasy residue, white also, as if there was a film left on all the plastics. My concern is if it is safe. I put the wash through an extra rinse to see if it came clean, but it did not. I than used a dish towel to try to remove. Any suggestions from seventh generation? I see one review said to use half a pack, but is it safe to break the packs in half and if so, is a plastic baggy going to hold the rest of the soap well enough until it is used. I hate wasting money. February 23, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by I bought this product a few weeks ago. To my dismay, there were 3 occasions which I found the lemon dish packs to be unsatisfactory. The soap pack did not dissolve. Unfortunately I will not be using the rest of the product because I feel that it was a waste of energy.I will still be a supporter of the other Seventh Generation products. February 8, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Powder and residue left behind. I tried these based off of a recommendation and I was very disappointed that powder is left in top shelf only plastics and residue on other top shelf only items. I have to rewash everything and rinse because I'm nervous that all my dishes are coated in this cleaner. Going to try the rinse aid and possibly stay away from the packets altogether. Rated 3 out of 5 by Always leaves powder behind I love Seventh Generation's products usually, but I've been using these packs for quite some time and I find I have to rinse out my glasses before use. Even with rinse aid there is always powdery residue left on my dishes and strainers (particularly on the top rack). I'm curious about the toxicity of accidentally ingesting this residue if I don't rinse my dishes before using. Any answers? November 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by works well! these dont leave a soap smell, clean well and completely dissolve would buy again!! September 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job well! I hate when my dishes smell and taste like soap, or even worse, that gross fake-lemon scent they put into dish detergent. The dish packs are great--my dishes are clean and sparkling, and there's no mess or overspill in the little detergent compartment. July 25, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by White residue on anything plastic I made the mistake of purchasing these again. I realize that after using and wants that they leave white residue on anything that is plastic. In reading these reviews I saw that 7th generation responded to someone actually said to try using half a packet. That seems like ridiculous advice. How in the world would you use half a packet? Defeats the purpose of having the convenient pre-measured packets. June 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing Was so excited to try this product, but after the first wash or two I noticed my dishes were not clean. There was a white residue left on the dishes, cups, and all my utensils. And there was also food residue as well. At first I thought it was my dishwasher, but then the same thing would happen every time I washed my dishes. After having to rerun the dishwasher a second time or hand wash everything, I just don't think this product works. April 19, 2015
