Answer: 
The manufacturer states: “Guard is pre-bored. Place clamp opening over bottom of drill press quill and secure by tightening hex head bolt at rear of clamp”. If you call us at 800-323-0620, we can provide you with the installation guide that includes a pictorial of the installation.
