Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: Using a thinner for Grainger part number 5E130 is not recommended by 3M. If you are looking for a particular type of contact adhesive that is less viscosity, Grainger may be able to special order for you Scotch-Weld 1357L. This is the same type of adhesive from 3M, with less thickness to it. If you need further assistance, please consider calling Grainger at 1-800-323-0620.
