I am thinking of adding power stations to a marina parking lot we are rebuilding for electric car charging but I donot know anything about the car connection requirements are they all the same or?

Answer: 
Grainger part number 11X297 is designed for SAE J1772/ NEC 625 (Level 1 and Level 2) standards. This means that as long as the vehicles that need to be charged have the same standards met with the connection plug; these will function properly. However, there is some new technology still in development; and may require a different charger and plug combination. That technology is leaning more to a “Level 3” charge, with a CHAdoMO(JEVS) connector/plug. Please consider calling Grainger and speaking with a tech support specialist to obtain much more detail.
