Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

This scale does not control the charging or recovery of a system automatically. This scale is designed to charge or recover by viewing the cyliner weight and controlling the manifold manually.

I would like monitor the weight of something on it over a long period of time and I don’t want it to shut off where I have to re-tear the weight.

Would it continue to stay on if the weight would change less than every 10 minutes? Is there something else that could be done to “use” the scale so it would not shut off?

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

The manufacture only states "Automatic shut off after 10 minutes of non use, back light shuts off after 3 minutes of non use". The weight change should be considered as usage.
