My husband used an old can of this (or similar) product in my living room on something. The can had sat in my basement for years and when he used it the nozzle came off and it sprayed all over my ceiling and walls. Is there any way to clean It off without removing the paint. Can it be painted over?

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: you can paint over this. You will need to remove the overspray with xylene or mineral spirits. You may remove the paint using the xylene or mineral spirts.
