Rated 5 out of 5 by Professional tool I would like to know types of uses with this kind of camera. I will use it in plumber situation but I am sure there is lot more situation we can use this camera. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Balance of Features Was looking for an inspection camera that did not require a charger, had a good display, was easy to use and affordably price. Evaluated several other name brands but most had camera tubes that were difficult to direct. The replaceable batteries provided adequate service life, illumination was very good and the image from the camera was excellent. The rigidity of the camera tube helps keep the camera pointing in the right direction but can make maneuvering a little more difficult. Also purchased a tube extension and the optional smaller camera, but the standard camera does provided a wider field of focus. July 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Its Amazing I buy nothing but Ridgid power Tool.. They are quality tools March 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Camera has good features, and good quality picture. After 2 uses, the battery holder crumbled into pieces. Need to replace. Very cheaply made. February 21, 2015

I have the older seesnake micro. Has a 17mm head that had the old clear plastic cover and 2 LEDs. The cover came off and the lens is no longer protected.

Also the plastic casing around the flexi cable has split. The camera is only 4 yrs old and maybe used once a month.

Is this under warranty?

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: Ridgid Replacement Imager Cable is not for the Seesnake, It is for use with the hand held units from Ridgid. We do not carry the one used on the Seesnake, but we could special order it for you.

Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer.

Is this Waterproof?

I have a Seesnake micro and used it alot in drains before breaking the camera head off. This replacement doesn't have the clear rubber shroud like the old one. Just don't want to spend the money and fry it out the first time i submerge it.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID!

Yes. Waterproof up to 10’. This seems weird considering the cable is only 3’ however the extensions can allow it to be extended beyond 10’ so we have to make sure we are clear.
