Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job Our 2 in. pipe drain for the washing machine/kitchen sink was draining very slowly and backing up. For little more cost than calling a plumber out to come snake it, I purchased this machine so I'd be able to clear it out in the future as well. Feeding it manually took some elbow grease and two passes with the spiral bulb attachment about 40ft into the pipe to get the hair/grease clog out. Followed that up with a pass of the spade bit all the way through the pipe to clean it out and it's now running clear with no problems. All in all, it took a little over an hour. November 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Did the job!! Tried several other snakes before I got to drain at a church so we wanted something with a lifetime warranty...wheels are Sturdy and is very well built. November 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by k -400 Two days after I purchased this machine, I had sewer back up at my house. it work like a champ cleaning out my sewer. I also just purchased auto feed assembly too. November 11, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product good cost but accessories too high I was very happy about the product and price of the k400 until I checked price of self feed attachment. Help a brother Ridgid! October 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by ------------------------------- we do have a restaurant , and we bought this tool to open one of our sink in the restaurant , and it did work perfectly , but unfortunately we try to open other pipes and which they are the most used one in the restaurant but it did not work . so what I want to say that we did not achieve more than 40% from what we are looking to have from buying this machine . Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product that's easy to use and appears very rugged. I've only used this three times so far, so hard to accurately rate "durability," but no problem with "Excellent" for performance and easy of use, based on experience with rental units. Power/torque is great, stock cable length is wonderful (the clog in my home tends to be around 60' from the cleanout, and I think the 3/8" stock cable is 100'), and operation is smooth and self-explanatory. Drum also completely encloses the cable (solid drum) and is positioned so that it doesn't come into contact with items nearby (like power cords and hoses, which is a problem I had with some rental units). Cable ends are easy to install and remove, and it's nice to have several ends to choose from. Recommend for anyone who has to clean drains and doesn't like the hassles or time-constraints of renting. Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to use. one man operation. Used it to clean (preventative maintenance) on 3 clean outs. I was surprised at how easy it was to snake through. Did not have to loosen and tighten the set screw at each feeding. It was also so easy to retrieve the cable back into the drum. I am satisfied. Only thing is that I have to wait for the 1/2 inch cable to be back in stock. October 15, 2015
