Answer:
Hello,
This is a question that requires more infomation, what part of the country are you located in. That will determine the average water temperature, this unit will add 20°F of temperature at 4 GPM so if your incomming water temp is 55°f the water temp will be 75°. Not enough to shower with at 2.0 GPM's you will get about a 30° rise. Tankless Electric heaters are ususally installed as point of use units, like for one bathroom. Your application would be better suited for a tank style unit, you get the volume storage with that type of heater.

I hope this answers your question, thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer!

Answer:
To properly size a tankless heater for your specific area, please contact us at 1-800-GRAINGER. We will need to know your zip code so that we can determine your ground water temperature, as well as how many fixtures in the home you would like to be able to run at the same time.

Answer:
At 2.5 GPM, this item has a temperature rise of 20 degrees. For your stated rate, you may like item number 14U448 which has a 79 degree rise at 2.5 gpm, or item 14U449, which is capable of 104 degree rise at 2.5 gpm. Each item also has a minimum flow rate so please check the specifications to see which would suite your needs best.
