Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor engineering and design Constantly lit green lights which doesn't tell you when the charge is complete. This is poor engineering and design. But then again, most RayOVac batteries do not tell you how many MAH they are and you often end up with lighter duty batteries. Want the best batteries? Purchase MAXELL RECO Rechargeable, 2100MAH. Or PowerX which are 2700. I've never had good luck with Ray O Vac. November 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Convenient, But.... I like being able to charge batteries while on the road using my laptop. BUT the unit is bulky enough to overlap the two stacked USB ports AND the charger cord port. Easy enough to deal with, but takes some switching mouse, flash drive, etc around when I need to charge something. The indicator lights come on green as soon as a battery is plugged into the unit. And they do not go off when charging is complete, 9 hours according to the packaging. I have not had any batteries need 9 hours to fully charge, so that is a big PLUS. December 30, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by recommended but could use improvements Overall, I like the batteries. My hubby bought this for me for our trip to Niagara Falls and the batteries lasted through countless videos and pictures over several days, plus several birthdays since. When I finally went to charge them, I was surprised and confused to find that the green light indicators are on while charging, and when charging is complete? How does that INDICATE anything? I didn't understand this marketing technique at all. It should either be two colors, red/yellow for charging, and green for charged, or nothing for charging and green for good to go. Or, green for charging, and no light for good to go. Simple, yet easy to understand. As I have yet to see how well the recharging works, I can't comment on that, but I am hopeful that it will work better than it did for the other person who reviewed and said they were lucky to get 10% use out of the battery. :) July 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best AA Battery Charger on the Market This is the only charger I use daily. It plugs into my computer's usb port so I always have two fresh batteries charged and ready for my mouse and keyboard. I cant even tell you how many of these I have given as gifts to friends and family. I highly recommend this product to anyone! June 26, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work very well I bought the ps19 and some additional AAA batteries for it and it never really recharged either the AA's that came with it or the AAA's i bought for it. I tried several USB ports on sever different computers and none worked well. The best result I managed was maybe 10% charge after 8 hours of charging.I also didn't like the light indicators on the product. While most similar chargers would have a dual colored system, red for charging and green for done this just had a persistent green light which could mean anything. You're always forced to find the manual which came with the product or look for it online to remind you what this special convention is. April 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Precharged Batteries A Great Deal My camera eats batteries. That is what makes me so happy with the pre-charged Rayovac batteries. I cam shoot hundreds of pictures on one charge before recharging. Other batteries may last only 25 or 30 shots. I was ready to pitch my old camera. Now I will keep it. April 18, 2012
