This is a Line Voltage thermostat, it must no exceed 25 Amps at 240 VAC at 277 it must not exceed 22 Amps. If you tintention is to use this on a device tha exceeds 25 -22 Amps, than it becomes a pilot duty switching a low voltage contactor.
