Rated 5 out of 5 by Was super easy to install. A one minute install. Unplug the old thermostat and plug in the new one. Make sure to pay attention to the lugs you unplugged from and plug back into the same lugs. February 26, 2014

I;m looking for a wall thermostat for temperature control for Dayton heater #3UG73. I prefer to bypass the built in thermostat that is inside the heater unit, if that is possible.
Unless the above picture is deceiving it appears to be a replacement thermostat for the heating unit and not a seperete wall thermostat that I can add on for temperature control?
Is there a wall thermostat I can use with this heating unit?

Thank you for any more assistance you can give me.

    Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following, since this unit comes with an internal Thermostat it can not be changed over to a wall mount; doing so would void the warranty on the product. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer
