That was before computers/printers/and such, and I really want to install a branch circuit for that, a second one for Christmas lights (with a timer), etc. I've got the spaces in the panel, it is 2/3 empty but it is a case of getting the breakers.
I do not want to put someone else's problem into my panel and my home. I do not want to run the risk of getting a breaker that was run on the verge of overload for so long to be "cooked' or whaterver -- even though I have the main as a backup, I want to KNOW that the breakers I put in will work.
So are these new or used or what, and who stands behind them? Would people who use them put them in your own homes?
