Rated 5 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by I use a lot of basic hand tools to maintain my muscle car addiction and grew up rebuilding carburetors with one screw driver. I resisted the ratcheting wrenches for years because they seemed fragile. These Proto ratcheting box wrenches have made me a believer. They are slim enough to fit into tight spots and have a strong and durable ratcheting mechanism. The entire Proto wrench is steel--I bought a comptetitor's wrenches first and was horrified to find out that the center part of the wrench was PLASTIC! The only tools in my box that are plastic are interior trim removers, so those plastic-sandwich wrenches went back to the store immediately. I don't even use my old-style box end wrenches anymore. Just remember to put a couple of drops of 30 wt. oil on the mechanism occasionally and these will save you time and effort. January 8, 2014
