If you are having a strong odor issue on the fresh water side the manufacturer recommends cleaning the unit with warm soapy water and flushing it until clean. If this is a problem that persists, you can add a fresh water tablet every time the unit is filled. The tablets are available through your Grainger account as a special order item; please contact us at 1-800-GRAINGER for details.
