Is this a manully operated, push to open bleed valve?
Is it ok with fresh water?
This item has been designed to be used to release air pressure from a pneumatic system, and should not be used with water as it does not have a threaded port for transferring liquids to a drain. At your convenience, please contact us at 1-800-GRAINGER to discuss your system and we will be happy to assist with selecting a different style of valve for your needs.
