Compact, 1-pc., nickel-plated brass fittings are for use with polyethylene, nylon, or polyurethane tubing. Support ferrules or I.D. tube supports only required for thin-walled poly tubing. Vacuum applications depend on temperature and tubing type.
    WARNING: For use only with air, water, oil, and nonreactive gases. Do not use where accidental separation of tube and fitting could cause injury. Not recommended for continuous-pressure cycling applications.

    tubing insert

    Does the tubing, that fits into this connector or others like it, require an insert?

    We are using these type items and they leak water where the tube is inserted.
    yes we have properly trimmed the hose using a right angle cutting blade?

    Hello,
    Support Ferrules are only required on this when using thin walled plastic, or soft tubing. Are you correctly seating the picece by gently tugging on the tube after it has been inserted. If you continue to have issues please call us at 800-356-0783 and ask for Plumbing Tech Support.
